Hello everyone,

Was wondering if you could please help me with my issue here? I've
tried to install the Development Kit but when I type cd
<DEVKIT_INSTALL_DIR> it comes out with a message stating
'The syntax of the command is incorrect'

p.s. I don't know if this is because the 'lib' file from my Rubygems
installation is said to be missing - ie. 'lib' file could not be
found.

<DEVKIT_INSTALL_DIR> is where you extracted DevKit when you executed
it. We recommend it be C:\DevKit

In the instructions <DEVKIT_INSTALL_DIR> is a "placeholder" for the
value you entered, which following our recommendations will be
C:\DevKit

So:

- If you extracted DevKit into C:\DevKit
- Then when doing "cd" you should do "cd C:\DevKit"

Hope that is clear

I have no idea what you mean by this, so going to ignore it unless you
include the *exact* error message you're getting from the console.

PS: Sorry took so long to notice your message, Google Groups didn't
email us (admins) about it.
