Hi all -

I was wondering if you guys can help me with a way to reduce the
amount of information that gets stored in a rails session via rubycas-
client. Recently I had to switch one of my web apps to use cookie
based sessions, which have a maximum size of 4k. Yesterday I got a
CookieOverflow error and I'm looking for any ways (including within my
own webapp) to reduce the size of my sessions.

What would be the bare minimum required in the session for rubycas-
client to operate? Is there any settings I could adjust to meet this?

Thank you very much for any help,
Jin Lee

Do you have single-sign-out enabled in your rubycas-server and/or client? Unless things are not working the way I think they are, the session usage should be minimal. It grows considerably, however, when you use single-sign-out because CAS <-> Rails session ID mappings have to be stored.
