The Position
------------------
We are looking for a strong object oriented developer who has gained
commercial experience in at least one object oriented language.
Knowledge of working in a Linux environment is also required. There
will be an opportunity for the candidate to learn Ruby and Javascript.
* Responsible for developing new components.
* Participate in the functional and design specifications
* Implement, test, and bugfix well defined functionality
* Produce reasonable estimates for tasks and meeting project schedules
* Suggest enhancements to existing components that contributes to product goals
* Deploy and provide support to the latest releases of product

* Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
* Third level degree in computer science or computer engineering
* Excellent object oriented programming skills.
* Experience with software development processes and the software
product lifecycle
* Experience working in a Linux environment
* Experience with an object oriented language in a commercial environment
* Knowledge of Ruby, Javascript and MySQL would be beneficial
* Self-motivated and results oriented
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
