Hey all,

A quick email to test the waters. How about we do a pub meetup this
month on the 21st? Perhaps somewhere new - such as South William
St/Dame St direction?

What say ye?

Ciao,
Dec

Got anywhere with nice big tables in mind? The PubStandards place
upstairs is good for that.

An immediate +1 from me to that. Great beer. Great food. Great tables.
Did I mention great beer...

+1 for Bull & Castle. It suits pretty well for small/large turnouts. Plus there's great platters if anyone's peckish.

Bull and Castle is cool but can get a bit noisy after certain times,
although a Tuesday should be fine, right?

cheers,
José

+1.  Ruby & Blue Chimay, it doesn't get any better than that. =)

I agree with José though, it can get crowded...

Bull&Castle can get crowded and noisy.

Python Ireland is currently meeting upstairs up in the Lord Edward,
which is cosy, intimate and quiet.

The owners of Against the Grain have opened up a new place called "The
Black Sheep" .....

yeah, the black sheep was Oisin's first recommendation (on irc), and
we ended up there last night after dublinjs. the place is good, drinks
are very good, and there was no music. oh, and tables are big enough
for 10 people or so...

cheers,
José

The library bar in the Central hotel is also usually pretty quite.
Where is this Black Sheep ye talk of?

Library bar is cool too. The BSheep is at the northern end of Capel
St., on the corner with Parnell st.

cheers,
José
