a few of us have organised a Ruby Cork meetup. It's really just a 'get to
know eachother' event, with no real agenda for the first meeting. The more
the merrier.

Converting Rails apps to use Ruby 1.9

Hi all,
Most of our apps are of the typical Rails + Ruby 1.8.6 + MySQL
combination. I've just converted a few of them to Ruby 1.9 and
encountered some really unpleasant UTF-8/ASCII problems along the way.

If you want the business plan for yourself or co-founders, then I'd definitely recommend something short (1-pager). If you need something bulkier for a bank manager, then there's a reasonable template at [link]
