Role Description

Want to work in a startup? Here is your chance. At Everworks, we are
recruiting talented, hard working developers to join our team in the
development of our first product, ZenDoc, a web based tool that makes
helps small businesses manage policies, procedures and compliance.

Skills required

The product is been developed primarily on Ruby on Rails with heroku
as a deployment target. We are looking for skilled and experienced
software developers, even if they don’t have a specific Ruby on Rails
programming background. Additionally, we are also interested in people
who are beginning their journey to becoming master programmers.
Programming expertise, enthusiasm and a thirst for learning will trump
any specific skill match, so please apply if you feel you are that
person regardless of background.

General skills
+ Strong coding skills e.g. unit testing, TDD and refactoring
+ Modelling skills e.g. domain driven design
+ Architecting / building a system for extensibility and scale
+ Self-motivated / driven person who takes responsibility for outcomes

Specific skills that would be a big plus
+ RoR;
+ MySql;
+ Javascript / Coffeescript;
+ Linux environments;
+ Heroku / EC2.

What you’ll be working on

You will get to experience all aspects of software development, from
the development of an actual SaaS platform to cloud based deployment.
In addition to the experience of being part of a startup, you will
have the opportunity to work with and learn from accomplished senior
members of the team.
