Subject: Anyone using 2.3?

Hi all,

Having a lot of trouble with whois and Rails 2.3. While I don't see Rails3
dependencies, trying to use whois is causing my app to fail boot with a
NameError: Undefined ActiveSupport::VERSION message. Monkey patching
ActiveSupport 2.3.11 with the module fixes this problem (if you require
whois after loading the patch), but now I've hit a problem with a method
"to_time" not implemented in DateTime.

So, this isn't compatible with Rails 2.3 anymore right?

Hi William,

I made several changes in the way Whois 2.1 interacts with ActiveSupport and
I suspect they aren't compatible with Rails 2.3.

This is definitely a bug. I'll try to setup a Rails 2.3 app and debug the
issue.
I filed a ticket https://github.com/weppos/whois/issues/117

Thanks for your email.
