Subject: Newbie looks for other newbie
Hello Ruporters,

I am new to Ruby/Ruports but I think I got a task where Ruport could
be the solution. Unfortunately time is running (as usual) and the
client told me that if I can't succeed they will buy CrystalReports.
Not a big deal, but if there are other beginners like me, why not we
try it together?

My task: From a time registration machine will be a CSV exported
(monthly) with the clocked times of several employees. My job: read
CSV, remove some columns and rows, calculate pure working time and
multiply with a certain amount, create fancy output (PDF) and save the
report on a ext. HDD.

I tried to read the free Ruport book, code snippets etc. with zero
success.

If someone want to help me... I would be grateful.

Regards!
