You should all know this already, but just in case, here's the vital
info for our little knee's up on Saturday.

Hughes Parry Hall, 19-26 Cartwright Gardens, Camden, London WC1H 9EF,
UK. This is NOT the same venue as last time, so here's a map:

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=115636221800273041924.00047a343cc3c60716ee9&ll=51.526768,-0.127673&spn=0.008931,0.020278&z=16

Nearest tubes are Euston Square, Euston, Kings Cross and Russell Square.

The Manor kicks off at 9.30am, so be there to get your badges and get
your arse on a seat before that; we'll be doing 'registration' from
9am, so no excuses. 'ere's the schedule:

http://rubymanor.org/harder/schedule/

There are plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry nearby.
Remember, I expect that you are able to feed and water yourselves -
your princely sum of £8 doesn't buy you any caviar, your 'ighness.

Speaking of drinking, there are more pubs nearby than you could shake
a stick at. Clearly this is a Manor pre-requisite.

Our 'official' post-manor rub-a-dub pub is Mabel's Tavern (see the
map), although I expect we'll occupy several. Last year, our
"unexpected budgetary surplus" meant that I could buy you lucky lot
quite a few cheeky beers, but you'll notice that the ticket was
cheaper this year. There *may* be some money behind the bar, but don't
be disappointed if not. Like I said: eight pounds.

In the venue itself, there are two things to keep in yer noggin:

* WiFi: don't expect any, though there may be some. If there is, treat
it like you'd treat yer dear old mother, and we'll all get along just
fine.
* Power: we'll be providing some power points, but yer best bet would
be to ensure your laptop was fully charged before the day. You could
also bring your own extensions, and share with fellow Manor-folk to
earn my respect an' admiration.

Lastly, remember that Ruby Manor is what you make of it. Talk to
people, explore new ideas, 'elp the presenters, and generally do all
the things you expect from other conferences - just without 'avin to
sell your 'ouse to get there.

See you on Saturday,

The Guvner.

hi,

Are there any plans for the night before? If no one else comes up with suggestions,
I'll be hanging out at my favourite pub, The Jolly Gardeners in Lambeth
(yeah, a german hanging out at a german pub...).

Kann's sein dass das Journey's Hostel im Lambeth Walk zugemacht hat?

ciao, tom

The night before will be the OpenStreetMap Christmas party, which I'll be at. More info from the following page if you want to join us out near Paddington:
