I'd love to continue to follow it, but we're getting something like 10
spams for every legit post right now.

I talked to Greg and the list will soon be moderated and I'll helping
getting the list cleaned up so we can preserve what's here and not
scare away anyone new and interested in RAD.

Wonderful!

While I have your attention, what is the status of the project? It's
been a while since RAD was last updated. I like Ruby, so I'm hoping
that the project hasn't died completely.

The program might be remain stagnant for a while, unless anyone issues
any pull requests (that's my best guess anyway).

Greg (@atduskgreg) was recently accepted into and has begun school at
IPT NYC (http://itp.nyu.edu/itp/) and is doing some pretty amazing
things there and it's consuming all of his time (and then some).

Of course, I don't want to speak for Greg, but I think that's the gist of it :)

But at the very least this list can be a good archive of advice for
people looking to use the tools in future projects and still be a
place where conversation can take place.

Happy to hear the good news for Greg, but sorry to hear it for the
project. Hopefully someone will pick up the mantle. I love the idea of
being able to program my mcu projects in Ruby.

I think Matt should be setup to go as a group Manager now. Let me know
if that works, Matt.

Everybody -- I wanted to apologize for my lack of activity and
maintenance here and on RAD generally lately. As Matt mentioned, I've
been totally consumed with class at NYU ITP, largely building things
with Arduinos.

There have actually been one or two pull requests on GitHub as well
that I have not had time to evaluate. If anyone (Matt, Ron, I'm
looking at you) wants to be added as a contributor to that project so
that they can vet these incoming patches, I'm glad to give you the
commit bit.

I hope everyone's doing fun things with Arduino and RAD. What's
everybody working on?

yours,

Greg

I would be happy to be added as committer and look thru some patches.
I have noticed from the github network diagram there are some people
that have been continuing to work on their various forks some of which
look interesting.

Group should be all cleaned up now and I'll do my best to get legit
messages moderated ASAP.

Thanks Greg and the rest of the group for showing continuing interest
in this project!
