Here is the updated member list including a few new names from tonight's meeting. I have been organizing this list since January, and checking this list with the names on the Google Group, so it has been worked over, but still as you can see there are gaps in information. This may be from people who are no longer interested, as they didn't respond to the mass email about contact info.
I have added a column for chapter involvement which needs to be completed; this will help to know who is involved and what they are working on. Also, I added a tab for meeting attendance, I am not sure if someone else is already doing this, but it seemed appropriate for this spreadsheet. (I need to dig up the previous meetings this year to add them as well.)
If you have any updates, please let me know as I keep the master copy on my computer, then update to this google doc.
I think the part that Sarah was referring to tonight about "slipping through the cracks" is that we have several social media sites where people can find us (which is great exposure for us), but keeping that all organized is a challenge. Even with the Google Groups site, if another manager accepts someone to the group; I am not aware of this and then don't know to add them to the spreadsheet or to request additional information from them.
At our Membership meeting on Monday; we should establish a few things.
First, what more information do we want to collect from the members that is not already listed here?
Secondly, dedicating certain people to monitor each of the social media sites, watching for new people and alerting me when they join so that all of the members end up on this spreadsheet.
And lastly, to discuss events to get people involved and to bring in new members.
