Today is a very important day in progress of our group.
Purpose of National RTI Act is to ensure accountability and remove corruption. But recently too many corrupt persons have become associated with RTI movement and befooling the public.
India's Chief Information Commissioner Anugraha Narayan Tiwari (better known as A.N. Tiwari) has said "articulate, English-speaking, powerful group of bureaucrats are the biggest challenge to the RTI system,"
It is now duty of all empowerment citizens to identify all these RTI corrupts and blacken their faces in pubic domain. For this reason we have opened a free website for citizens.
So please visit the group website and post details of all RTI corrupts to rti4empowerment group. After verification the post will be permanently uploaded to website. All posts should have supporting links to reliable information for reading over internet.

INVITATION TO THE PUBLIC MEETING WITH STATE INFORMATION COMMISSIONERS SUB :- A public meeting with the CIC Sri Jannat Hussian and other information commissioners on the issue of Commission's working in the last 5 years --------- UNITED FORUM FOR RTI CAMPAIGN AP (UFRTI ) & RTI Awards (Supported by Public Cause Research Foundation) is organizing a public meeting with CIC Sri Jannat Hussain and other information commissioners on the issue of Commission's working in the last 5 years How should an Information Commissioner function? On this issue, the public has its own 'expectations' and the commissioners have their own 'understanding'. Often, these expectations and understandings do not match and the people get disappointed. To narrow this down, we wish to bring the people and the commissioners on a common platform for a healthy discussion. The commissioners wont be commenting on individual cases during the meeting but only on broad issues arising fromsuch orders willbe discussed. This is the first time ever that these meetings are happening across the country and have been highly successful. In this context, we are organizing this public meeting in AP. All appellants who have had experience with the APIC are requested to attend the meeting and share their experiences. Sri Arvind Kejriwal, Magsassay Award Winner and Founder PCRF, will also be a part of this meeting. Activists fromacross the state willalso be part ofthe meeting. Important note to the appellants: Please understand that the commissioners wont be commenting on individual cases but only on broad issues arising out of their orders. You will be given a time of 2 minutes to share your experience. We request you to strictly adhere to the timeline since we are running a tight schedule.
