All,
I have contacted Radiowavz (located in Lake St. Louis, MO) about their
EFHW (End Fed Half Wave) 80m antennas. They perform almost
identically to a dipole, but are fed from the end, not the middle.
You can put this antenna on the air with only one support.

Seeing as how most emergency/traffic handling is done on 75m in the
state of MO, these would be ideal for every ham to have in their go
kit.

They retail for $79.99...but the nice lady at Radiowavz said if we got
an order of 10 or more together, she'd knock the price down to $64.99/
each. That is almost a full 20% off full price.

I have no monetary interest in this or stand to gain nothing other
than getting 20% off the antenna myself.

If you are interested, please let me know ASAP so we can get them
ordered. Also, send this to all of your ham buddies who might be
interested.

I have a hardly used Outbacker Perth 2-80 moble antenna cost over
200.00 works fine however I would be willing to trade it for one of
these End-Fed single band antennas. So if anyone does not have
interest in the end fed antenna but does have interest in an outbacker
just pay me enough to purchace one.
