netcom installed on Sony P (US version) with XP

Hi, Installed netcomm on Sony P with XP. XP rebooted after installation. Now on login screen XP is stuck, mouse can not be moved. Only power switch works to swich off. Any suggestions? 	Hi, I suspect Netcom is not yet compatible with Vista, I have spent 3 hours installing and rebooting but, when I launch the console to run the wizard, a message box says "App.module No network interfaces detected on system...."
