Routing Question

I need directions from Point A to Point B. I am thinking of using
CloudMade SDK. My issue with Cloudmade is that directions are tied to
the MapView. I want my directions in a format that I can render on any
RMMapView. Is there another API that I can use?

Google and Bing offers also rest api where you can get directions as JSON with list of GPS points, so you can use the route any way you like.

But, what about the price for commercial apps? Google is really
expensive (3000$ entry level).
I asked at bing with no answer for the price.

You could use YOURS.

It just give out GPX or WPT, so it's not so coder friendly as the JSON variants..
And you can make your own server and run this in there if the traffic gets too large..

Not only is the price an issue, they dont support offline maps. That is the main reason I decided to go with Open Street Maps.
