Hi list,
I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how much I
appreciate all the emails sent to me about my friend and buddy Cary. I will
eventually make calendars again, but first I need a little time for me. I
have sick parents who need my help and hubby has a dad that always needs
help with projects, so we stay rather busy. With the warmer weather now too
we will be busy with our landscaping business, and if I have time, I may
take some embroidery orders this year. My newest project is garden flags of
birds just in case you are wondering.
My parents need a new roof put on this year, and a new toilet put
in, along with help in cleaning the house, since mom has a bad back, and my
dad can't bend well as he has artificial veins in his lower abdomen.
Hubbys' dad is wanting a new shower put in, and we have to ad the
air conditioning unit to his new furnace, and finish his hot tub room yet
this year. We do all the work ourselves so we don't have to pay for
contractors. This all takes time and since hubby works through the week
(thank God he still has his job), we only have weekends to get anything
done.
We will have to put new windows in our house this year, and as we
do, we will also have to put on aluminum siding at the same time, as all the
windows are old and you cannot get this size anymore, so you have to go
bigger or smaller. We also need to re-roof our garage this year, and try to
keep up with the parents and our garden, so you can see it is going to be a
busy year for us.
We both have siblings that could also help with the parents, but
they don't, so it is up to us, which we don't mind, but it does take up a
lot of our time.
I get on here when I can, and I will keep you updated as much as
possible.
Again, thank you for all the replies and prayers for me and my buddy
Cary. (((HUGZ)))
