Subject: Re: [rosacea] Re: Users of Eucerin Redness Relief -- Update please

I caved in to the pressure & bought the cleanser & night creme (from Rite
Aid).  Used it for 4 days & returned both items (keep those receipts!).  The
cleanser made me really red, and I would stay red longer than usual.  I was
also starting to get a build up of dry skin on my chin.  The night cream
didn't calm my skin, & in the morning I'd be a bit pinker & greasier than
normal.

I have been using Eucerin Pore Purifying Cleanser (a salicylic acid wash)
since last Sept w/o any problems.  When I started using it again, my face
came back to "normal" (whatever that means anymore...)  With that cleanser,
I get paler & my sebum production seems to be kept in better control.  Oh, I
also now own a tube of that Clearasil Ultra Cleanser that Dr. Nase metioned.
I can actually use it, but it seems to be drying.  However, my skin doesn't
feel tight after I rinse.  I've also noticed that if I use it in the shower,
I get pretty red (maybe b/c it is a bit hard to rinse so the shower blast
makes me red).  If I use it at the sink, I look pretty good.  I'll keep it
around for a scrub to use a few times a week.
