Mission Statement:

The Rockwood Orthopaedic Society strives to expose UTHSCSA students to the diversity that exists both within the orthopaedic specialty and the community that treats the spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. We accomplish this goal by sponsoring meetings and hands-on demonstrations with faculty, residents, medical researchers, private physicians, and allied health professionals. Our organization facilitates clinical shadowing opportunities, encourages participation in orthopaedic research, and promotes involvement in community service projects.
