Nice setup!
But I tried, there is one error, when starting pymacs :
File mode specification error: (error "Pymacs helper did not start
within 30 seconds")
Do you have any ideas?

Oke, now I'm using the pymacs and ropemacs from the Debian repository
and it works fine.
But do you have project wide completion, can you auto complete symbols
project wide?

I just updated my setup. It will require the patch in the thread I
just started, and
my fork of auto-complete on GitHub: http://github.com/magcius/auto-complete
I'm not sure if rope can auto-complete symbols project-wide, but I'll
look into it.
