I don't know how many of you were at the game yesterday, but I fear
that our hopes for meeting without the aid of phone numbers and faces
fell through. I was really hoping to meet face-to-face with all of
you, but that obviously didn't happen, as each one who I didn't see
can attest. I hope you all had a great time (if you were able to go)
and I'm game for another attempt in the future.

I'm also game for some suggestions on making the meeting a little more
certain. We're all naturally uncomfortable with the idea of handing
out phone numbers to people we've never met - especially online where
anybody can get a hold of them. There's got to be a better way of
communicating. I know that Twitter was mentioned, but I honestly
don't know a thing about it. Please keep this in mind for next time.

Lastly, if you were at the game, please think about getting your
thoughts on the game written up on the site. Everybody sees different
things and we're all starving for football news. I was pleased with
what I saw; I hope everybody else was too.
