Highly recommend using "rocks create mirror" to grab updates and create an
updates roll
on your cluster.

Once you've created the updates roll
1. rocks add roll ...
2. rocks enable roll ...
3. cd /export/rocks/install; rocks create distro
4. yum clean all.

This brings updates into the local repository. Which has several
advantages.
On the frontend can selectively decide which packages you want to update
via standard yum
commands.

For compute nodes, simple reinstall them. Updated packages will be used
instead of old packages.
