Brief Update from Rockridge Fellow

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted here. Things are settling in to a
new routine now that I've moved to Seattle. Anyone in the area who
wants to meet up, just drop me a note.

I'd like to let you all know that Evan and I have been working behind
the scenes to build momentum after Rockridge closed. We're still
interacting with others from the institute and coordinating our
efforts to the best of our abilities.

What I'd like to tell you about is the effort I'm taking on to promote
cognitive policy (which includes framing) through a new enterprise
that brings together behavioral and cognitive scientists who want to
enhance progressive politics. It's been slow going so far, but I've
made some excellent connections and am getting enthusiastic responses.

In the next few weeks, a new website will be launched to continue our
work. It probably won't have a blog right away because it takes
considerable resources to maintain one like what we'd want to have.
Still, we are moving toward community empowerment through an increased
focus on trainings and consulting with small groups and organizations.

I'll have more to report soon. Just wanting to let you know that I
haven't forgotten about you.

Good to "see" you again, Joe. Of course, it's been pretty quiet here
the past few days. Not sure where everyone is, I guess I scared them
off with my singing. :)
