Friends...

As we know we've had a bit of spam lately...

I think we should put some type of antispam statement on the front page and I'd like to open up discussions.

Keep it short, simple and sweet...like "RocWiki stands against Commercial Spam".

Thoughts please?? :)

I'm not sure exactly what the intention is of the anti-spam statement.
If it is to make it clear to users that any spam they see on RocWiki
is not supposed to be there, then yeah, that sounds fine. If the
intention is to reduce spam, then need to look elsewhere... Maybe
have a notice in the page templates just above/below the comment
section that says in small print, "To report spam in the comments,
send e-mail to yada...@probablypeteorryanorsomebody.com"...?

Front Page after "... Rochester New York."

RocWiki is a free, not for profit, '''["Anti-Spam" anti-spam]''',
'''["No Advertising" no advertising]''' site that .... "is
continually updated ....

Then add the Anti-Spam and No Advertising pages for viewers to report
things in the comments section. Editors can RSS or Bookmark the page
and take action when complaints, reports, etc appear in the comments

I will make an entry on the For Editors Review page
http://rocwiki.org/Wiki_Community/For_Editor_Review

and maybe some prototypes
