Subject: RATS CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

We have some exciting events coming up this multisport season and we need your help. Namely, for the Flower City Challenge. This is a two-day event, so we hope that if you are competing on one day that you will volunteer for the other. Details on the events follow, so if you wish to represent the RATs as a competitor or volunteer, please reply to this email with your availability (cbo...@rocketmail.com). Note: Both races begin at 7:30AM Volunteer Option 1: The River Challenge Duathlon & Paddle Triathlon events take place on Saturday April 24 at the Genesee Waterways Center/Genesee Valley Ice Arena on Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY. Volunteer Option 2: The Unity Health System Flower City Half Marathon and Mayor's Family 5k events start and finish at the War Memorial (1 War Memorial Sq, Rochester, NY 14614). WANT TO RACE? Participate on you own or on a RAT's team. If you want to participate on a team but need help finding partners, reply to this email with the race segment you wish to do (paddle, bike or run) and I will do my best to find teammates for you. What can you do as a volunteer? Packet Pickup Road Marshalls Water Stops Finish Line - In this role you would be collecting the timing chips, while congratulating them of course! Also helping to sort timing chips Don't forget to stop by the RATs' tent on race day.
