Good morning Sierrans,

Hope you will consider attending the Tuesday, 10/20 presentation on "Chill the Drills" - read below for more details.  And anyone who is interested in composting will want to attend the two-hour info session coming up this Saturday - details below.

Presentation by Sierra Club Arctic Organizer on Growing Threat of Dirty Energy Development in America's Arctic

Sierra Club's national Arctic expert will be in town to give a presentation on the growing threat of climate change and oil development in Alaska's most pristine areas, including the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the Western Arctic.

WHO: Kit McGurn, Sierra Club Arctic Campaign Conservation Organizer, Local Activists, Concerned Citizens

The Master Gardeners of Monroe County CCE
will host a morning of composting information.
The public is encouraged to come and see
the variety of methods used
to create useful soil amendments
out of yard and kitchen waste.

Fee: $5 per person/$10 per family cash or check
