RL2 release?

Hi,

been a long time lurker on this list, so hello world!

Maybe it is not the right place to ask, but I haven't found the info anywhere else.

When a release version of RL2 can be expected? The thing is, I got this new job, I have to start AS3 development from scratch, I'd like to go with RL, but I can't figure out if I should go with RL1 or with RL2 beta?

Hello back!

I say:

Go with learning Robotlegs 1, because it's a smaller thing to learn, and 90% of what you learn for RL1 will still apply in RL2 - there are only some syntax changes, but the way you *think* about applications is largely the same.

We're circling a beta of RL2, but as we get into the nitty gritty there are questions emerging that take a little time to ponder and consult about.

Your investment in learning RL1 won't be wasted at all.
