Guys, did you happen to face this

Hi

I had Robotium test code going very well. The application was platform
signed. I had signed the test also with platform signed. all went
well.

This morning, I burn the SDCard with new load nothing worked. I put
back the original load and nothing worked.

Its throwing Permission Denial: starting instrumentation
ComponentInfo{com.cisco.notepad.test/
android.test.InstrumentationTestRunner} from pid=961, uid=961 not
allowed because package com.cisco.notepad.test does not have a
signature matching the target com.cisco.notepad

Hi Ann,
to mee it looks like you used the re-signer in gui mode without having
the paths set.
In this case it strips the signing out oft the file so you have a
virgin apk but is not able to sign it again because it can't find the
tools.
If I am right please run it from the shel: java -jar re-sign.jar
in.apk out.apk to see if any exceptions pop out.
Which OS are you using?
