Hi;
We are two couples who are comming to Roatan next summer for two
weeks and we have some concerns about our timming. We were in Belieze a
couple of years ago and discovered that both of our wives are extreamly
allergic to Sand Flies, (fleas?), and these critters like our wives
extreamly well also. So, my question is, which months are we going to

I got a note today--one of MANY such I've gotten in past years. As
usual this person who shall remain nameless has lost a boyfriend and
thinks he is hurt in a motorcycle accident and wants me to help her
find Joe Jones (not the real name but the real one is just as
impossible to track).
Since I've written this answer so often, I decided to post it.

Just make this a universal--much as I HATE to say "always."
Still, there is no place on Roatan where a swim suit and cover up
t-shirt/shorts won't do fine. And SOOOO many places to swim and
snorkel--including Parrot Tree-- to miss out on if you don't have your
suit on.
I guess that also means bring a snorkel/mask with you everywhere too,

Since we've been asked, please understand why we refuse to say anything
negative about other resorts--is just not the way we do things.
And we surely can't compare them to our place. We think our place is
the BEST--if we didn't we'd be changing it to make it the best, eh?

Just wondering if you can answer a question and I didn't want to post

numbers "settled down"? I realize that may depend on where within the
island I am talking about. I remember a few months ago everything was

You should've been here in Feb for our annual Mardi Gras Toga Party!
High season has been too busy to put up photos--but some guests have
put some up on this site's Photos page. Brion and the band on the beach
and 200 people in togas! It's become a force of nature!
