A Skywarn training class is being presented by Alex Tardy of the
National Weather Service on Wednesday, June 15, 5:30PM, at Julian Jr High School.
The address is 1704 Cape Horn Drive, Julian, CA.
The presentation will include what Skywarn does to assist the
National Weather Service during times of extreme weather, a discussion
of extreme weather itself and how to recognize when something might be
shaping up, fire weather, and of course a Q&A period. Also, Paul
Nysen, KJ6KIA, will discuss the physics of lightning and how to
minimize the chances of an antenna installation from being struck.

All are welcome! There is an online sign-up for this free Skywarn
training class. Please direct anyone you know that may be intrested
