Someone just commented on my YouTube account with regard to a Painted
Bunting she saw in Lexington. Could this be the same one that was in
Verona over the winter? Are there any other such reports in Virginia
this summer?

GoddessOfGuinness has made a comment on Painted Bunting in Virginia!.

I'm visiting Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA, and just
saw a painted bunting on the campus. I couldn't believe my eyes as I
think of this bird as a tropical resident. What a surprise! Thanks for
