Wednesday  14 October'o9  here at Woodpecker Ridge from about 9 - 11
AM I birded along the road near the feeders
and parking area and the road to the cabin.  Birds were active and in
good numbers.  In addition to the usual suspects,
I saw 20+ RC Kinglets, 4 GC Kinglets, 5 Y-B Sapsuckers, 3 Blk-thr Blue
War., 1Blk-thr Grn War, 2 Yel-rumps, & 1 Pine
War.   There were about 12 WT Sparrows and 1 Junco along the driveway.
                          Temperature 58 F. when I started...dropped
to 48 F. in less than 2 hours. observed and reported by :
