Roku Channel Stuck on Welcome Page

So I installed wamp and ro-connect, purchased the channel and the ro-
connect roku channel is stuck on the welcome screen and I cant get it
to display anything else. The http://localhost/roku/roku.php sees the
roku and the light is green I can index the folder and it picks up the
content just nothing on the roku channel.
Any help is much appreciated.

I went through the same thing and it turned out to be my router. What make and model is yours? Is it up to the current firmware level? Does anything happen when you click the "connect" button to the right of the roku image in ro-connect?

If you are using IE, don't.
Or, get Plex.

I have a dlink, also. It was definitely the problem. It was at
firmware version 2.03NA. I upgraded it to 2.06NA and my Roku problems
(for both RoConnect and the iPhone Roku app) went away.
It's a pain to upgrade the firmware, because you can't go directly from
2.03 to 2.06. Yes, you have to upgrade to 2.04, then 2.05, then 2.06
and each takes 3-4 minutes. Anyhow, in the end, it was worth it.

Switched to Plex too complicated to set up, I appreciate its only $1
but plex is free and so much simpler.
