If you missed the live announcement, what we revealed is that Shane Emmons is now officially an RbMU staff member. Shane has taken our core skills course, the first design practices seminar, the 6 week teaching course, and has mentored in several core skills sessions. In May, he acted as my assistant instructor and helped lead the class to the best pass-rate by percentage we've ever seen.
While it'll be some time before we see Shane teaching completely on his own at RbMU, his contributions have been enormous and we want to recognize him for that. The nice thing is that he is both an alumnus and a staff member, so this is not as much a promotion as it is an extra role to take on. We hope that having someone who's been through RbMU as a student before on staff will help us stay in touch with the needs of our students as RbMU continues to grow and change.
So please welcome Shane and thank him for his awesome work!
