BB 5 Pass Redo?

Hey RATs,

Per our discussion at yesterday’s meeting, I am offering to reschedule my canceled 5 Pass Ride to this coming Sunday, 9/4.  Yes, it is Labor Day weekend, but as most folks will be returning to town on Monday, I think we have a fair chance at a good run on Sunday.  Will post more details in the coming days, but overview is meet at Launch Espresso for coffee/breakfast early, stands up at 8:30.  ~ 310 mile day, so with a lunch stop in Kremmling, back in town 4:30ish.

So sound off if you are up for it and we’ll see if we generate a quorum!

Sadly I will have to bow out of the 5 pass ride.  My BMW will not be ready and I need to concentrate on getting everything set up for the South Dakota trip the following weekend.  Have a great, safe ride!

Thx to everyone who came out (nine bikes departed)!  Turned out to be wonderful weather and pretty moderate traffic on most of the route.  Sorry I missed the last Berthoud pic op, got wrapped up with final traffic at the top and just flat forgot to stop!  WIll be valuable to hear for future reference if you that elected to use the eastbound Express lane came thru toll free, so let us know sometime.  I won’t be at the Sept monthly, so would ask anyone who does attend to give a summary if you would.

Thanks Bullet Bob. The weather was great for the ride. Had a great time with everyone. I did take the Express route and will let you know if I get a fee. But even if so, it was worth it. I made it home to Windsor in record time.

Thanks for leading the ride. It was a great day for a motorcycle ride.

I followed the frontage road as far as I could along I70. It made for a slower but much less stressful ride home.
