Two research-intensive positions (one women only position) in machine learning, planning and scheduling, diagnosis, reinforcement
learning or knowledge representation and reasoning, within a world class Artificial Intelligence team which spans Australia's
leading university and Australia's ICT Centre of Excellence (NICTA). The successful applicants will contribute to the research
agenda of both organisations.

Salary Package $75,936 - $102,302 pa plus 17% superannuation

Position Overview: Applications are invited for two research-intensive positions at academic levels B or C. The primary focus is
research and graduate student teaching and supervision. Undergraduate teaching duties will be held to a maximum of half a normal
teaching load. The appointees will contribute to the research program of Artificial Intelligence research group at ANU as well as to
AI projects within NICTA.
These positions are initially fixed-term for 5 years with the possibility of a further ongoing appointment following excellent
performance. The intent here is to mimic a tenure-track process in the absence of a formal tenure track mechanism at ANU.
