Plant Flags for Memorial Day

Scouts,
American Legion Post 117 will be planting flags on the graves of veterans and would like scouts to help. You can earn service hours for doing this.
Please come to Fountainhead Cemetery, 7303 Babcock St., Palm Bay, on Sunday May 26 from 10 a.m. onward. No sign-up is necessary, and you can come later in the day. You should wear your class A uniform. The cemetery is on the east side of Babcock St., south between Waco and Wyoming.... more »

Great news! Due to a near record demand, the registration window for the 2013 Air Conditioned Eagle Encampment has been extended to June 4. There is still room to join this provisional style event - additional adult leaders from troops and crews are not needed.
The Air Conditioned Eagle Encampment is run by 45 experienced volunteer staff members who take a week of vacation to help Scouts on their trail to Eagle. There were 488 young men who earned the rank of Eagle in 2012 and many of those benefited by attending the encampment on their trail to Eagle. Please make your Scouts aware so they can get signed-up soon because Eagle Encampment now draws Scouts from across the country, and throughout Florida, not just the Central Florida Council.
