Keep using villages.cc??

I have been using villages.cc for a few years and recently have been experimenting with ripple.com. I have a vast trust network and reputation on villages and I want to cultivate it more. I am feeling conflicted when encouraging my friends to use 'Ripple'.. I have a few questions that can help me navigate.

Will villages.cc seamlessly integrate the new ripple protocol in the future?

Would the ledgers need to be reset?

What are you teaching your community how to use?

Right now, I am sticking with teaching friends villages.cc.. I am only showing ripple.com to my, VERY technical friends.

Would love to hear your feedback.

Villages still works better as a identification hub, so really I suggest both, but mostly villages, since the source is available for that.

It should be possible to seamlessly integrate Villages into the new Ripple protocol in the future, yes.  For now, Ripple does seem to be better for technical people.

I guess down the line Ripple needs as many WoT options as possible to ensure relevance and growth?

If there any discussion between Ripple and companies like Ning (large hub of social networks)? Or Facebook :) ?
