Thanks again to Tom Griffin, coordinator of Virginia Green for the
Department of Environmental Quality, for telling us about their
program for greening Virginia's restaurants during the Feb. Green
Drinks. I hope that all y'all have told your favorite restaurants
about the program and encouraged them to sign up. It will also be
great to track the pilot program announced at Green Drinks for
commercial composting that Ellwood Thompson and U of R are testing.

This month is we'll have our running theme of "just talk to each
other" night. You can also talk to yourself. As long as it moves us
forward to a sustainable future. And there is a lot to talk about!
Let's be sure to talk about how the CIty of Richmond is moving forward.

What is Green Drinks? Every month people who work in building and
environmental fields meet up for a beer at these informal sessions.
It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for
making new contacts. These events are very simple and unstructured,
but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new
ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. Look for our website
at the international organization - greendinks.org.
