Summer League Registration Update

Good evening, all,

On account of how relatively strong male registration has gotten, we're going to have to suspend single-player registration for men, at least for the time-being, until/unless we get more women signed up.

Whether we resume honoring men's requests depends on the number of women who decide to register from now until the end of the registration period (which isn't absolutely fixed, but won't occur later than the end of next week). 

So, guys, if you want to play in league this summer, try to get some women you know to sign up.  Meanwhile, if you want to do the fellas a solid, ladies, all you have to do is go to richmondultimate.com/register and get in on the fun. 

We don't have unlimited spaces by any means, but the window's not necessarily closed yet, depending on how things proceed from here.

As implied, we won't as yet suspend registration to men who sign up with women as baggage, so that's one option for you guys that want to be proactive about the status quo.

Guys, if you do want to reserve a spot for yourself in case the situation improves, you can still "register" at the link above.  However, we cannot at this point guarantee you a roster spot.  (At best, if we get maximum female participation going forward, we have about 30 spots for guys that could open up.  Again, all depends on the ladies, though.)

I will keep you posted as best as I can from here; thanks for understanding.

Good evening, Richmond Ultimate,

The website for registration will shut down this Sunday.  We still need more women for the league; ladies, please sign up if you haven't.

At this juncture, it's all but official that we will have a ten-team league--which means that we pretty much don't have any more room at the inn for men (from this point forward, baggage-wise, too, even).  So, technically, while you fellas can still go through the website registration process, I can't promise that it isn't an exercise in futility.  In fact, it doesn't look like we'll be able to take more than handful of dudes off of the wait list.  (I will be in contact with those of you that don't make the cut by the start of next week.  There will be a way for you to participate in Summer League, still.)
