Calling to external URL using Web Request - On Client Button Click

Hi,

I am trying to call an External URL which will accept my entered data
value as a posted data
and will return me response in form of either JSON or XML.

Issue right now i am facing is , I am not able to call the URL on
click of any button at Client Side.

e.g.

First Name : John

Last Name : Smith

Submit

Here on click of submit button i would like to post my data to an
external URL at client side.

Need help in this.

Generally we recommend use of rhosync for interacting with a backend
app (e.g some existing website).

However net/http support was recently checked in. So you'd be able
to use the latest Rhodes to make ruby net/http calls to effect your
form post.

Could you please share the sample or is any code present in sugarCRM
example?
