要旨：
The behaviour of polymeric and other soft materials is often
determined by structures and processes on different length
and time scales. In many cases, these scales cannot be
treated with one model or simulation technique alone. A
hierarchy of models of different resolution has therefore
been developed. The talk reviews ways of linking different
models and discusses the successes of multiscale methods as
well as the remaining substantial challenges, particularly
in the areas of rheology and viscoelastic properties.
