Greetings friends,
This discussion thread is going to be focused on compiling material
that all new and current members should have access to in an organized
and handy hard copy form.
We will likely include the 80+ page Orientation Guide, and selected
questions from the Venus Project FAQ, but what else would you like to
see among this material? Is there anything specific to our community
that you think would help people better understand how and feel
motivated to help us make the world a better place?

I was thinking we could actually include the definition of the word
"zeitgeist" and more importantly the 3 phases of the movement.

Does anyone have any input as to which Venus Project FAQ questions
should be included in the new member packet ???

After reading the Q&A, I think a lot of the issues break down into a
very few issues ultimately. There are at least 4 questions relating to
Communism/Marxism, at least 2 dealing with drugs/alcoholism and many
dealing with timeframe and implementation and planning.
I think that we should at least put in those items that deal with some
of the "values" issues that many people might bring to the table like
sexuality, substance abuse, individual freedom/communism and
multiculturalism/religion. And probably throw the human nature
response in as well.
We might also want to look at the Aims and Proposals also, those are
probably the most practical in terms of answering "what is the plan?"

After our screenings this weekend, I think we may be able to expect
around 5-10 new members who would be attending our next meeting. I
will start working on producing some rough drafts of the information
packet and share them here for comment and review. I would also like a
copy of that introduction that Sam and Eric wrote if I can please. =)
I think it has some good language in it that we can definitely use.
