Hello

I'm new with RFM22B and would like to write a simple send / receive code in order test a pair of these HF modules.

I've read the datasheet but i did not find what SPI mode RFM22B module use ?

Has someone succeed to send a small text to a remote RFM22 module ?
If so i would really appreciate if you could post a code example here, it will help me to understand how these modules work.

Many thanks,

Hello,

RF22 mouules use SPI mode 0.

If you use the RF22 library, the subject of this group, then you dont have to
worry about the mode, and you can use the example sketches to get started with
your own project.

Cheers.

Thank you for your help,
Would you please tell me what is maximum SCK SPI clock rate accepted by RFM22 modules ?

Actually I do not use Arduino for my project, i use PIC 18 familly.

I would like to port some Arduino library's functions to C18 compiller for PIC.

My first issues are how to properly init 2 x RFM22 modules, one as receiver and second as transmitter.
Because there are lot of registers, it is difficult to start.

Cheers,

Suggest you get the RFM22 manual and study it.

Cheers.
