All I have is
Bell's marriage indexes for the Sunderland area:
20 Feb 1796 Thomas Atkinson = Margaret Reveley
And here is what I have on Newark Reveley:
Monumental Inscriptions in the Grounds of the Minster in Sunderland
(formerly Bishopwearmouth Church).
"Here lies the body of Newark Reveley, coal fitter who departed this life
the 5th day of January, 1812 aged 65 years also Catherine Reveley wife of
the above died the 13th day of July 1815 aged 64 years"
(I have the photo of the marker)
Perhaps Margaret was Newark Reveley's sister?
The Newark Reveley I have is from Julian Woolford:
[1] Newark REAVLEY, b. 11 May 1784 Sunderland, DUR, d. before 14 Sep 1854
....+Elizabeth HUNTER, b. circa 1788 DUR, m. 23 May 1818 St James,
Westminster
Then in the 1851 census I found Margaret Atkinsons visiting Hunters, were
they cousins?:

Dear Sarah
You asked, on a message board recently, does anyone claim Margaret Reveley,
well I do!
My gggg grandmother was Margaret Reveley born c 1773. She married Thomas
Atkinson and they had at least 4 children one of whom was Newark Atkinson
b1805. He, in turn, had a son, Newark
Atkinson (brother of Charles Crosling Atkinson - my ggg grandfather)
Charles had a son, Newark Reveley Atkinson b1866 (my great grandfather), His
son, Charles is my grandfather and his brother is Norman Reveley Atkinson.
I am not sure where Margaret Reveley was born but – successive generations
resided in Sunderland. Several male Atkinsons have Reveley as a Christian
name or a second name.
I would be most grateful for any help re Margaret.
Best Wishes
Pamela Thomson
