Hi,

I just downloaded retroforth and looked for some documentation. I
found a couple of sites that were so dark I couldn't read them. Is
there other documentation available?

I do not know what editor you use to read the docs. It should be
possible to use a brighter color scheme. The docs are included in the
tarballs. They are very good imho and readable in ASCII. Regarding the
websites, you should consider using Opera that allows you to set the
used colors to what you want. I guess that's also possible with
Friefox and an addon.

Quick links if you want the latest docs online:

Release 10.0: http://feedbooks.com/userbook/1004

10.0 included docs in pdf and epub; 10.1 includes the docs in reStructuredText format which is readable in any text editor. (rST is an ASCII-based, human readable markup language).

None of these are formatted dark; can you share the ones you found? If they're old links, I'll update them to point to current docs.

Thanks, Helmar. I goggled around a bit and the documentation is
appearing. I know next to nothing about forth itself, so I have a way
to go.

Thanks Charles,

The pdf from Feedbooks looks good. The dark docs I found were green,
on retroforth.net. They may be easily readable on other monitors. Mine
is a few years old and has darkened. I like white, or light
backgrounds for that reason.

Good point. I've adjusted the colors to make it more readable.
