2pc doesn't work very well in a decoupled environment where you don't control some (or all) of the systems you are integrating with. Especially B2B, or even D2D (division to division) or even P2P (project to project).

Dangerous idea. What if something is not undoable?. Networks have a
tendency to go down, and systems may be set into a read-only mode
without warning. You may think you have a compensation strategy, but
it may fail. I.e. Buy flowers for your wife in case of exposure.
