I haven't added much more than in draft 1 but have spent the time looking at the comments from that draft. So for example, Link headers are used and there's a new media type for the transaction status. I need to add some more text around the basic protocol, synchronizations and finish the recovery section, but I thought I'd send this over as it stands at the moment. I'll continue to work on 1.2 as well as the compensation protocol.

next week since I'm presenting on this topic at the 2nd SOA Symposium

Dangerous idea. What if something is not undoable?. Networks have a
tendency to go down, and systems may be set into a read-only mode
without warning. You may think you have a compensation strategy, but
it may fail. I.e. Buy flowers for your wife in case of exposure.

Interesting article and idea. I like the TC/{txid} idea, but it seems
unwise to send a 404 return value on finished transactions, because
its valuable to know the difference between an unknown transaction,
and a finished one. I think it would be appropriate to return a 403,
to indicate that the transaction is in a state where further... more »
