Proposed Dates for RESTFest 2013

time to nail down dates for RESTFest 2013.

Currently, Sep19 through 21 is tops in the running (schedule-wise for the venue, etc.).

That turns out to be the same weekend as NordicAPI Days in Stockholm:

I don't think we'll get a lot of overlap, but it's something to consider.

Benjamin can chime in here on dates since he's been working on the venue logistics.

Any other comments/ideas?

yeah - this is a real bummer. i just saw the latest post on Nordic APIs fall plans, so I shot this to the group.

It's possible that the following weekend will for for RESTFest, but Benjamin needs to confirm some logistics.

I, too, was hoping to participate in the Nordics event, but nothing transpired. Didn't know the date were set already, too.

All good.  Of course I understand, but RESTFest was / is a major event priority for me this year.

Doh. RESTfest is at the same time as Strangeloop.

Is the next weekend still possible?

I would really like to be at both ;)

RESTFest still has priority though.

I definitely don't expect a date change for me, but just wanted to say I'll be sorry to miss you guys.  DrupalCon Prague will be the week between the two proposed weekends, so I won't be in town.  However, I pledge to hoist a might fine pilsner in a westerly direction while I tour Plzen.  : )

My time with you all last year has continued to pay dividends!  Thanks for making the event happen.

There are enough events we can collide with in October as well.

IMO September is perfect, weather wise in particular. We should go for it. There's always a select few who have other obligations, but that's inevitable.

Hi every one! :-P I don't usually work this early...can you tell. >_< If you received an email from me via this list just now--which is mysteriously gone from google groups--you'll know why! :-P

At any rate, suffice it to say Mike and I nearly have this pegged and we'll be announcing it to the world soon.
