Does deleting a resource delete metadata from DB?

In the process of ingesting assets into the system I picked up a
lengthy report in PDF. ResourceSpace extracted the text, and I'm
wondering if deleting the PDF will also delete all of that text from
the database (that's what I would like to happen).

I believe you need to run pages/tools/database_prune.php in order to
delete orphaned data. It's safe to run as a cron job.

repeatedly finds orphaned keywords at all!
