Hi RCers,

If any of you are using inherit_views, it's had a complete makeover
for edge. Edge's view internals have changed a lot, and as a result
inherit_views is now leaner and cleaner, pretty much all the magic
happens by intercepting _pick_template.

For those who don't know inheirt_views, here's an example of its use:

A small but useful change has made its way into RC. I've rejigged it
so that rspec's generated controller specs all pass against an rc'd
controller (i.e. the stubs for a standard scaffolded spec all work for

Hi RCers,
If you're using repsonse_for, you should be aware that the master
branch contains an API change. You should start tracking 0.1-stable
in any projects using response_for (or 0.1-stable-rails2.0 if you're
were using the rails2.0 branch).

This is a bug in rspec.

Basically, rspec munges render_partial so that it short circuits any
aliases.
Here's a patch that fixes the issue on rspec

more to this:
render_partial_with_inherit_vi ews is called from the within the development
server context but not from an integration test context.

When I make a call to display an inherited view from a functional test
or a browser it is working fine:
